Day in the life of a Joinery Apprentice

Havering College of Further and Higher Education: “Matthew has been working for the Diamond Specialist Joinery in Upminster for the last year. Watch this video and find out what he has to say about doing a joinery apprenticeship and what it involves.”

What does a Joiner do?

A joiner will work mainly in a workshop making products out of wood, such as windows, doors, stairs and many other products. They will use a range of tools, some hand tools and other industrial woodworking machinery. As well as working in the workshop you could also be working onsite. As an apprentice, you will often have time at college also.

How to become a Joinery Apprentice

The British Woodworking Federation has a good article on the process of becoming an apprentice. Take a look at their step by step guide https://www.bwf.org.uk/training/become-an-apprentice

At Sculpt Success we love to see day in the lives of loads of different jobs just as much as you guys do. So, if you want to see any type of job, in particular, send us a message on our Contact Page.
