Day in the life of a Nurse

12 and a half hour shifts for nurses can be long, you may be wondering what are nursing shifts like?

Grace Barry’s description: “In this vlog I explain what hours I work and what I eat in on a typical shift at work. I prepare my meals for shifts the night before and opt for quick and healthy foods. Working night shifts and day shifts means being prepared is important. This week I work 3 day shifts as an ICU Nurse in the UK. I work 7:00-19:30 or 19:00-07:30 which is typical within the NHS nursing system. I get two breaks in this time and try to eat a balance of healthy foods with a little of what I fancy!”
